Vecna is an advanced technology company focused on robotics, healthcare solutions, and enterprise productivity.

STEM Partnership Summary

Vecna employees are encouraged to support a variety of engineering and science projects.  Such activities may include: providing support for curriculum science and engineering projects, site visits to demonstrate experiments, and mentoring students.

Contest Mentoring: One of Vecna's key outreach efforts involves supporting FIRST Robotic teams. Descriptions of the team projects are posted on their Web page, as well as an overview of the projects that the engineer/student teams created for the FIRST Robotic competition.

Tutoring: Vecna employees are encouraged to participate in community service to promote STEM activities and to provide tutoring for local middle and high school students. Vecna encourages employees to volunteer up to 4 hours a week (10% of their paid work time).

Internships: Unpaid student internship opportunities are often available in robotics and engineering. Open positions are posted on the Vecna website along with full-time positions.

Tours: Vecna will host pre-arranged tours of robotic and other hardware manufacturing and testing facilities for small school groups.
