In partnership with the Boston Society of Civil Engineers, AECOM offers a wide range of STEM education opportunities. AECOM is also a primary sponsor of many programs and events across the state.
AECOM’s wide-ranging STEM efforts include:
-
Hosting “ACE”, a mentoring program for high school students. This program facilitates connections between engineers from the fields of architecture, construction and engineering in an effort to expand high school students' career and industry knowledge
-
Supporting Future City Competition, targeting grades 6-8. Sponsored by National Engineers Week, this national program introduces students to engineering with the popular SimCity 4 Deluxe™ software. Students design a future city, build scale models, write essays and give oral reports on their city's design. http://www.futurecity.org/
